During their May 2025 meeting, the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind Board of Trustees voted in favor of a resolution honoring the Helen Keller School of Alabama as an Alabama Green Ribbon School.
During their May 2025 meeting, the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind Board of Trustees voted in favor of a resolution honoring the Helen Keller School of Alabama as a 2024 Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools (CLAS) School of Distinction.
During their May 2025 meeting, the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind Board of Trustees voted in favor of a resolution honoring the Alabama School for the Blind Wrestling Team.
