Alabama School for the Blind hosts an annual week-long summer camp for blind and visually-impaired Alabama students ages six to 16 who do not currently attend ASB. Camp is free for Alabama residents. The enrichment camp gives students a chance to interact with other children who have vision loss, enjoy some fun field trips, spend time horseback riding, swimming, skating, learning arts and crafts and more. Assessments in vision, hearing, intellectual and social maturity are available for potential students. Summer Camp concludes with a Family Fun Weekend.
This summer Alabama School for the Blind kicks off Camp Asbury June 2-14 which is especially designed for visually-impaired students ages 16 to 21. Blind and visually-impaired students can also look forward to this year's Summer Enrichment Camp that will be held June 16-22. Apply today!
