Welcome to the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB) News Center. Here you can find information on AIDB’s three residential schools: Alabama School for the Blind, Alabama School for the Deaf and the Helen Keller School of Alabama. Here you will also find information on E.H. Gentry Facility, Alabama Industries for the Blind and AIDB’s network of eight Regional Centers located across Alabama. In 2008, AIDB celebrated 150 years of service to Alabama’s children and adults who are deaf, blind and multidisabled and their families.
