Admissions

Referrals for admission may be made by individuals or agencies, but are most frequently made through Department of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) counselors. These DRS counselors, located throughout the State of Alabama and the nation, determine whether you are eligible for DRS services. If eligible, you and your counselor proceed with the referral. Individuals referred and sponsored by the state of Alabama DRS are not required to pay tuition and fees. Individuals referred by other agencies, by Vocational Rehabilitation Services from other states, or by self-referral must arrange for payment of tuition and fees. A current list of tuition and fees can be obtained from the office of the Executive Director.
