E.H. Gentry is a full service education and rehabilitation facility. Established in 1968, Gentry helps their clients achieve economic independence through employment training, college preparation classes, independent living skills and early intervention programs. Gentry creates customized program for their clients. By combing personal and professional goals, Gentry helps their clients live the most independent life possible. Using the latest technology available, Gentry alumni are prepared for college, the workforce or to live independently. Gentry has numerous programs available including, services for deaf or hard of hearing, blind or visually impaired, deaf-blind and general services. AIDB’s Gentry Facility Earns Accreditation

Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind’s E.H Gentry Facility has earned accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities or CARF. Though not required under federal or state guidelines, CARF accreditation is viewed throughout the rehabilitation industry as the benchmark of quality services and programs.
